“Earlier this week, I spent four hours in Ahrefs to find just five keywords that fit my requirements. Today I spent a single hour in ContentSage and left with 40 hyper-targeted keywords.

B2B keyword research is completely broken

Tools like Ahrefs and Semrush generate huge lists of keywords filled with irrelevant results.

It’s like panning for gold in a river of mud.

Research is time-consuming and tedious

Keyword data has coverage gaps

“Informational” intent isn’t actionable for B2B

How ContentSage delivers relevant results, fast

So long, spreadsheet hell. ContentSage delivers only relevant results so you can find actionable keywords in a fraction of the time.

01

A focus on topics that matter to your business

Searching a keyword database with seed keywords leads to lots of noisy, irrelevant results. In ContentSage, seeding your research starts with content topics you’d want to rank for.

ContentSage AI can generate content topics in seconds for any type of B2B product, for any part of the funnel.

02

Zero-noise keyword results

Using your content topics, ContentSage reverse-engineers Google results to identify the exact keywords searchers are using.

It only delivers relevant results — including ones you’d never find using “matching terms” in other tools.

The Founder

I built ContentSage because I couldn’t scale without it

Every SEO knows the spreadsheet slog — the hours spent sifting through thousands of rows of keyword data spit out by tools like Ahrefs and Semrush.

I created ContentSage for B2B SEOs like me who want to get keyword research done faster without sacrificing comprehensiveness or strategic insight.

Frequently asked questions

Can ContentSage do B2C SEO as well?

You can submit any type of query to ContentSage — B2B-related or not — and get the most relevant keyword results, plus relevant questions from Reddit, Quora, and People Also Asked.

But we’ve designed ContentSage specifically with B2B content strategies in mind:

  • The types of content topic ideas you can auto-generate with ContentSage AI are mostly relevant to B2B content strategies.
  • When ContentSage AI labels the search intent of keyword results, it uses categories related to the B2B buyer funnel: TOFU, MOFU, BOFU, and Brand. Every other intent — like local, news, or ecommerce shopping intent — is categorized as “Other”.

I’ve already done a lot of keyword research. Can ContentSage help me find new opportunities?

Yes. We regularly have customers who have been working on the same sites for years tell us they’ve found compelling new keyword opportunities with ContentSage.

A lot of it has to do with our unique “inverse” approach to keyword research. Using AI makes it possible to quickly generate content ideas that go beyond what you’d find with conventional keyword research techniques like competitor gap analysis. And reverse-engineering Google results surfaces richer, more-relevant keyword opportunities than the text-string matches of a seed keyword in another tool.

Is ContentSage difficult to learn?

No, it’s quite easy to use ContentSage. In one respect, it operates just like any other keyword tool: you submit one or more queries, and you get keyword results back.

But ContentSage is unique in a number of ways that give you better results, faster:

  • It helps you generate content topic ideas to submit as queries.
  • It uses the inverse keyword research method to return more relevant results.
  • It includes results from Reddit, Quora, and other sources to reveal areas of search demand that other keyword tools miss.
  • It returns more actionable data for B2B SEOs, like funnel-specific search intent (TOFU, MOFU, BOFU) and competitor gap analysis for every result.

How does ContentSage know which keywords are most relevant to my query?

When you submit a topic to ContentSage, ContentSage searches Google for that topic, examines the top results, and references multiple keyword databases to determine which keywords those specific pages rank for. This approach uncovers the actual keywords people use to find content on your topic, even when those terms might not contain the same words that appear in your topic query.

How does ContentSage use AI? Do you use it to find keywords?

No, we don’t use AI for finding or generating keywords.

When you ask an LLM to generate keywords, it doesn’t have access to actual keyword search data, so it often invents keywords based on its body of general knowledge. And any serious SEO wants to make decisions based on hard data, not inventions or guesses.

Instead, ContentSage finds keywords by reverse-engineering the Google results for any query you submit. The system looks across multiple keyword databases to find the keywords that prompt the top Google results. In other words, the system finds the keywords that searchers actually use when they’re Googling to learn about your topic.

ContentSage uses AI to make the rest of the keyword research process faster or more effective. ContentSage AI:

  • Identifies your industry based on your website so it can generate relevant topic ideas for you more quickly.
  • Clusters questions from Reddit, Quora, and “People Also Asked’ based on the similarity of their intent. (Conventional keywords are clustered based on the similarity of their top 10 search results.)
  • Analyzes Google results to identify the part-of-funnel search intent of each keyword cluster.

Can I export results?

Yes, you can export all search results or any keywords you’ve bookmarked into a CSV. CSVs include all the actionable keyword data you get in search results.

Where does your keyword data come from?

ContentSage uses keyword data from reputable SEO industry sources.

Meanwhile, every major keyword database has different keyword coverage. And we want to provide comprehensive results so you don’t miss any relevant opportunities.

So ContentSage uses multiple keyword databases to identify relevant results.
